From 2019:
We welcome our new intern Sarah Coffey who will digitize Ledger Book 1 of the Title Insurance Company Collection. She received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of West Alabama and will be starting her Master’s in anthropology at the University of Southern Mississippi in August. In her free time Sarah enjoys watching TV (Bones and historical-based shows are some of her favorites), drawing, reading, and travelling when she has the chance.
Sarah’s mother’s side of the family came to Mobile in 1989 from Michigan and her father’s family has been residents of the Mobile area since the 1940s, coming from North Carolina. She grew up in the Mobile area and hopes to continue working in the Mobile area and learning about its history.
